Data stored on your device
The app stores lesson progress, practice history, confidence choices, favourites, accessibility preferences, reminder settings and locally cached purchase-entitlement state. No account is required. The app does not ask for your name, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, precise location or message content. You can export a machine-readable copy of learning progress and delete app-held learning data from Library. Files exported elsewhere must be deleted separately.
Permissions
Internet and network-state access support advertising, consent and store purchases. The advertising identifier may be available to advertising SDKs subject to device settings and consent. Notification permission is requested only if you enable practice reminders; reminders are scheduled locally. Boot-completed access restores enabled local reminders after a restart.
Advertising and consent
The free version uses Google AdMob with Unity Ads mediation. Depending on region, consent, device settings and ad availability, these providers may process IP address and approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics, app usage related to advertising, and security or fraud-prevention signals. Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform asks for choices before ads are requested. Eligible users can reopen privacy choices inside the app. If consent is unavailable or declined, providers may restrict processing or show contextual ads.

Purchases
The Play build uses Google Play Billing and the Galaxy build uses Samsung In-App Purchase. The store processes payment and account details. Arrival English receives product, order and purchase-token information needed to validate, grant, restore, revoke and support the one-time ad-free entitlement. Play and Galaxy purchases are separate and do not restore across stores.
Support and website
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to answer the request, investigate problems, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. This website is delivered by Cloudflare, which may process IP address, request, device and security data to deliver and protect the site. We do not use the support website for behavioural advertising.
Sharing, international processing and sale
We do not sell learning progress. Data may be processed by Google, Unity, Google Play, Samsung Galaxy Store, Cloudflare and the email service provider only for the purposes described here. These providers may process data in other countries under their own safeguards and terms.
Retention and security
Local learning data remains until you delete it, clear app storage or uninstall. Support messages are kept only as long as needed for support, security, record-keeping and legal obligations. Advertising and store providers apply their own retention rules. We use platform security controls and encrypted transport where offered, but no system is completely secure.
Children
Arrival English is designed for adults handling everyday situations and is not directed primarily to children. If the audience or product changes, we will reassess consent, advertising and disclosures before release.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Use the in-app export, delete and privacy-choice controls where available, or contact contact@mintback.app. We may need reasonable information to verify a request.
